The wedding of the year is now over, the pictures the world couldn’t wait to see have been exposed and they looked amazing. Our favourite bits here at idowedo.co.uk are:

v  Giant photo of Wayne and Coleen being signed by the guests. What a great idea and such a great keepsake from the day.

v  The wedding cake. Did they really need all that for just 65 guests? It was a beautiful cake though, simply white with scattered silver butterflies.

v  Coleen’s third dress change of the day was into a gorgeous Marchesa gown, white with the top half covered in crystals. Simply stunning.

v  Coleen’s wears three rings, her engagement ring, wedding ring and the third a gift from Wayne. They all fit together to make one ring.

v  The table plan was simple but very elegant. They have been slated in the press for this, but we don’t know what they are on about, it was lovely!

v  The voice over just moments before Coleen was walked down the aisle by her dad. She has previously recorded this and it was said to be ‘a moving moment’. The poem read:

Today is finally the day that I will be the bride. I look at you and see a father gleaming with pride. But first there are a few things id like to say, I love you more and more with each passing day. I remember as a little girl I felt comfort in your arms and hoping that one day id find a man with all your charms. I have found that man dad that I do love so, but please know this dad that my love for you will never go. So as you walk me down the aisle, I know you’ll shed some tears and remember all the good times and love through all the years. I am the bride today but in your eyes you’ll see, that some things never change daddy’s girl I’ll always be.

Coleen walked down the aisle to ‘You Are So Beautiful’ and The Community Gospel Choir sang half way through the ceremony too.

Idowedo.co.uk only had a couple of things to pick at on their day… we found Coleen’s first dress slightly disappointing as it didn’t fit fantastically on the top. This was such a shame because it was a lovely dress. Her bouquet was also very small, it would of been much nicer a bit bigger.

Congratulations to them both on their marriage, it’s nice to see a celebrity couple get married after being high school sweethearts before the fame began. Betting agents have 5/1 odds on their marriage ending in five years or under, but we don’t think so!
