Gary Lineker The Match of the Day star, had only 2 witnesses at the town hall ceremony, and are having a blessing for family and friends the following day.

Gary (48) and Danielle (30), married in the picturesque town of Ravello, beside the Amalfi Coast. The ceremony was conducted totally in Italian and the cost included the hire of a translator. The wedding was so laid back that ex-England striker Gary, wore trousers and an open shirt.

Gary met Danielle on a blind date in 2007.

Last night the newlyweds celebrated with a candlelit dinner on the terrace of their hotel. Gary, had booked a 3 room suite, with a Jacuzzi and views over the Med to celebrate their wedding night.

The Blessing

The blessing took place at the spot where Gary, proposed a year earlier. Where they were surrounded by 60 friends and family.

Model Danielle walked down a petal aisle in the hotel gardens to the strains of Ave Maria. Wearing a silk dress designed by Suzanne Neville, she was led down the aisle and given away by kaid her half brother. Her daughter Ella, seven, was a flower girl.

Guests later sat down to a £20,000 six-course dinner in the hotel’s outdoor restaurant. They had bouquets of pink roses, and the setting were stunning. They had a violinist and an opera singer, sounds absolutley perfect.

The show started on the 6th July 2009 on Living TV, It is about 4 brides going head to head to compete for the best wedding and the winner wins a 5 star honeymoon, but to win they have to invite the three rival brides to there big day, The three brides have to mark the whole event, such as the venue, the dress, the food and the over all presentation! The bride with the most points will win the honeymoon, but each bride does not no what they have scored until the end of the programme, when a limo pulls up with the winning groom.

As you can imagine, four competive brides all in one room does sometimes end up getting a little messy.

But the great thing about this show, is that you can pick up some fabulous ideas for your own wedding. Some of the weddings you will see can be alittle strange not your typical white wedding, but everyones taste is totally different so it is nice to see a range of different ceremonies and receptions.

The first thing to do when organising your wedding is obviously to choose and book the venue. We recommend that your next task is to find a wedding photographer, by looking online Usually typing in wedding photographer + “your area” eg “Scotland” or “Kent” works well, though added terms such as “traditional” or “reportage”, by doing this it will narrow down your search.

Do you have a favourite style – ones you’ve seen in a magazine, or on a website, show them to your photographer so they know what your happy with. However, you won’t have their experience so this can only be a guideline for them. Don’t pin them down to tightly or you’ll destroy all the creativity they have to offer you. Do your research on current styles and poses that you might think flatter you, and think about who is important to you too, as family tend to only meet up on big occasions.

If you have a large family and you want to make sure that you get certain photographs of the them on your wedding day, why not supply your photographer of a list of people that you would like to be in photographs and he/she will be able to call there names out on the day and get all the photographs that you have requested.

Some photographers are prepared to travel outside their geographical area, but there can be an extra charge for this based on the mileage and if accommodation is needed that might increase the overall price you are expected to pay on top of the basic wedding costs.Photographers tend to get booked up 18months or more in advance so it’s a good idea to book yours as soon as you have set the date and booked the venue.

You do need to feel comfortable with your wedding photographer. Do you feel at ease with them, initially in their emailed communications or phone calls. Can you be impulsive or well-organised? Outgoing or shy? Can your photographer see this and work accordingly to bring out the best in you and your husband to be?

Some photographers are now prepared to release your photo files to you on a DVD/CD (usually at a cost). They may say this is available only after all orders have been placed or that this is copyright protected and for your reference only. You will need to discuss this with your choosen photographer.

Find out what is included in your Photo Package and get their agreement down in writing. Keep this in your wedding file along with all your other information wedding information, as your suppliers are all human and mistakes can happen. Ring your photographer a week or so before the wedding to check final details.

Some photographers double-book themselves, and unless they have more than one photographer on their books, its worth asking who is actually covering your wedding as its nice to get a chance to at least speak to them to get a chance to bond with them first

Choose a photographer whose work you like, who has plenty of wedding photograph albums to show you, either online on their website, and who you feel you get on well with. Good cameras alone do not create photos: it is the person behind the lens coupled with their relationship with you that makes the perfect style.

Farm Weddings
We don’t mean standing in a field with lots of sheep and cows! But farms can be an affordable place to get married with a lot of charm. some of them allow your guests to interact with the animals, you might find a farm that has a barn that you could tranform in to ther perect eveing reception or you could have a marquee set up for the sit doen meal and change it around for your evening guests.

Small luxurious weddings Budgets might be tight, but that doesn’t mean that luxury and glamour are going away. Instead, couples are opting for the more intimate wedding day. By having fewer guests, they can have more personal touches during the day, maybe more expensive wine, or more personalised favours.

The new color for 2009 is gray. You may think of gray as too dull to be a color for weddings,it can serve as a sophisticated contrast to brighter colors. It’s great paired with pink or yellow, but perhaps the hottest combination this year will be silver and purple?
Purple is extremley popular in the high street shops at the moment maybe this trend will follow within the world of fabulous weddings.

2009 brides are considerate, so they’re looking for bridesmaid dresses that are truly rewearable, look in high street shops, such as john Lewis you can pick up some lovely dresses from Coast, or try BHS they have some great prices on Younger bridesmaid dresses, if you are set on a cerain style but you don’t mind having different shades of your choosen colour, all hit the shops during the sales and you could end up with getting some great bargains.
